Our story
Before Soko, we were restaurant owners, building community through food inspired by our mothers and the flavors we grew up with. When COVID shut our kitchens down, we lost more than a business — we lost a dream. But even in that moment, our love for real, honest food never left us.
Soko became our fresh start. Named after the Swahili word for “market,” it represents gathering, resilience, and connection. We make our pita chips from real pita bread, baked for a clean, satisfying crunch, because doing things the right way matters. This isn’t the end. It’s our comeback.
